The application case of HWACHANG is “Tianjin Masterwork Printing equipment research and development and manufacturing project automation warehouse (Secondary Node Training Platform) procurement and construction”, which is a typical case of printing manufacturing industry. Tianjin Masterwork(MK) Technology Group Co., LTD., founded in 1995, is a leading enterprise in China’s printing equipment manufacturing and a world-renowned high-end printing equipment service provider. The company has independently developed more than 100 products in seven product series including hot stamping machine, die cutting machine, quality inspection machine, box paste machine, digital injet printer, laser die cutting machine and gravure printing machine. A number of products for the domestic initiative, and reached the world advanced level. Products are sold in more than 80 countries and regions. In the domestic printing packaging equipment segment market share has always ranked first.
*Project Highlights*
1. Different product specifications, box-type and pallet storage model mixed;
The components involved in the project have different specifications and sizes. According to the characteristics of client’s products, HWA adopts the box-type storage and pallet-type storage mixed mode. The storage area of turnover box AS/RS warehouse has a total of 4 aisles with 24,000 tote positions. There are a total of 5,536 cargo spaces in the pallet AS/RS storage area and 4 aisles for single depth position. At the same time, because the weight of the goods is different, in the storage process, HWACHANG designs a mixed storage mode with the light and heavy items, to ensure the stability of the operation.
2. Rainbow storage, solving the problem of multiple SKUs and categories;
Project product categories are more, SKUs even more than 50, 000, HWACHANG designs the principle of rainbow storage method, a box/a drag of different kind of products, greatly increased the storage volume ratio.
3. Flexible hardware and software combination, picking and inbound mode can be switched at will;
According to the storage needs of clients, Hwachang change the “4+2” mode (4 picking, 2 inlet) into “5+1” (5 picking, 1 inlet), providing a flexible combination of hardware and software, tote-handling warehouse and pallet warehouse, every GTP platform can be used as picking and storage, switch at any time.
4. Unilateral lift and unilateral caching module mode, reduce cost and increase efficiency;
In order to solve the overall budget, HWACHANG will provide the unilateral lift and unilateral caching module model, two-way operation mode for clients. According to cargo storage requirements, the efficiency of lift can be set to meet the shuttle lift efficiency.
